Hello friends,
As I reflect on my journey from the bustling world of TV news to the fulfilling path I’m on today, I feel a profound sense of gratitude and anticipation. Transitioning from reporting live outside the Pentagon during the tragic events of September 11, 2001, to launching my own business has been a transformative experience.
For over two decades, I had the privilege of working at various TV stations in Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, and Michigan, before returning to my roots in the Washington, DC area. It was a career filled with unforgettable moments—like sharing stories of resilience with first responders, eyewitnesses, and families during some of our most challenging days.
Today, as the CEO of Audrey Barnes Media, I draw upon this rich tapestry of experiences to craft impactful stories through video and empower others to find and share their own compelling stories.
I am particularly proud of the video I crafted for a personal trainer who is helping people living with Parkinson’s and cancer thrive with exercise. I am humbled by the spike in enrollments after we produced videos about a lifesaving State of Maryland program that helps domestic violence survivors and at-risk law enforcement officers and judges shield their addresses from those who want to harm them.
2025 marks an exciting new chapter where I’m eager to reintroduce myself and build a vibrant community of like-minded entrepreneurs embarking on similar journeys.
My message is simple yet powerful: It’s never too late to pursue a life filled with passion and purpose.
I’m excited to share this journey with you and look forward to connecting with more individuals committed to making a positive impact through their businesses. Let’s inspire and uplift each other as we pursue our dreams.
I invite you to join me on this journey, and I hope my story resonates with you.
Warmly,
Audrey Barnes
